Fresh off a flight from South Korea,ONEUSHe walks into StyleCaster's Midtown Manhattan studio full of energy and a bright smile. They dance to Silk Sonic and lean out the window, curiously looking at the New York Public Library's famous stone lions, Patience and Fortitude. This is their third time in the United States and their third time starting their tour in New York City. It's a tantalizing and familiar feeling for her, but it still feels like a wonderful adventure filled with food, sights, performances, and ambition. "Every time we arrive, we want to succeed," Hwanwoong says.

ONEUS, known as the "Concept Kings" of the fourth generation ofkorean pop, has a loaded repertoire, from the passionate electronic "Valkyrie" to his debut mini-album. HellUs;from the fluttering traditional rhythms of "Luna" to its 2021 releaseBlutmond. For those unfamiliar with specific K-pop lingo, concepts are themes that a group does with each comeback, also known as a new single or album. If you can think of a random theme, be it vampires or the "very wild concept" of No Diggity as Keonhee remembers, Hwanwoong, Keonhee, Seoho, Leedo, and Xion have probably done it before.
While staying true to their Korean roots, ONEUS shines in all of their performances and they aren't afraid to step up each time. “All of these concepts that we do are very different and very challenging at first,” Keonhee explains. "So now, when they challenge us or suggest other concepts, we're not worried or scared. Now it's more like, 'Oh, now let's do this. How do we want to do that?'"

It's no surprise that the band has catapulted right into a sexy and luscious concept in their recent comeback. Malus. The EP's lead single "Same Scent" offers a fascinating insight into a lost love's longing. “I'm like a flower that can't bloom / Without you by my side / I feel dry and thirsty,” Seoho sings on the bridge.Malusembraces ONEUS' collective strengths while showcasing their individual talents. "When we were preparing for this album, we had individual concept videos that really suited us," says Hwanwoong. "We learn and adapt to the parts where we can show our best."

Their collaboration extends beyond the five members of the group to your company. Ideas can come from anywhere and from anyone; and there is always a sense of gratitude for RBW Entertainment's commitment to helping ONEUS stand out. “We collected many different ideas from employees and selected the best options. One great thing is that the management also respects the ideas and creativity that comes from ONEUS. They try to bring as much as possible so that we can really show our true colors," Seoho shares. "They trust the band 100 percent, so when we perform on stage and create our own choreography, we decide what we do."
„
We really want to show who ONEUS is and what this band is capable of.

The next day, fans of ONEUS, affectionately known as TO MOON, packed the historic Apollo Theater in New York City on a rainy Thursday night. Excitement and emotions raged through the halls and ONEUS was absolutely ready to put on a show. They took the stage in their pretty, sexy blue suits to sing "Bring It On" (literally). TO MOON serves ONEUS as their main inspiration and motivation for everything they do.
“Because of the love and support we have from many people around us, such as our family and TO MOON, we tend to work very hard when we feel something is missing in certain parts, such as music, choreography, or acting routine that you need. improve, motivates us”. Keonhee says. Xion shares this sentiment: “There are many good people surrounding us and supporting us. So we trust them and we're going for it."
Although they only did one US tour last year, theirsGira „Reach For Us“marks their first world tour and they want to impress everyone at the concert. “On previous tours, we concentrated a lot on showing a good stage. Let's show perfect choreography, good singing, and the best acting,” Keonhee explains. “This time we want to perform, but we also want to share every moment with our fans. We want them to say, 'Wow, it really touched my heart and it was very emotional.' We want TO MOONS to feel like they need ONEUS."

“Especially on this tour, there are a lot of special stages and things we want to show fans since there were a lot of events in Korea as well,” Hwanwoong adds. “We really want to show who ONEUS is and what this band is capable of. When we perform in front of our American fans, we want to sing our songs together and communicate with them."
And that's exactly what the group did. All five members were ready to jump from song to song (literally again) and concept to concept with ease. Between songs, the group actively solicited feedback from the audience to see which concept they liked best. Sexy was the most obvious answer, with fans from different corners of the theater screaming the word with every ounce of their voice. One example where TO MOON was captivated by her sensuality was when lead rapper and lead dancer Leedo's powerful stage presence captivated the audience.

Along with the rest of the group, ONEUS TO MOON wowed with the viral dance cover of Justin Timberlake's "Sexy Back." With every movement flowing and incredible vocal work on every song, they move forward together with teamwork. The group said that there were special sets for each country they visited and told me not to spoil the rest of the set. Although Xion teased at the concert that her performances would "make everyone swoon."

The concert also showed very sentimental aspects of ONEUS from their pre-debut days. Each member took us on their journey to becoming an idol and their breaks between rehearsals during VCRs between sets. His past self made sure that everything would work out and that they would really succeed. “Don't be afraid, you're doing the right thing,” Hwanwoong replied when asked what they would say to their younger selves on their debut. It is touching to know that your accumulated work and efforts over the past four years shine brightly for the world and for TO MOON.
